Conference "Business and food utilization"

The day will start at 18.00 hours with an institutional greeting. And right after that the presentation will take place "The new law for the prevention of food losses and waste", by Marianne Puig Lescure, technician from the Sustainable Food and Food Utilization Area of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The day's program also includes the round table "Good practices against food waste", with the participation of Rafael Oncins Pujol, CSR director at Plusfresc and president of Respon.cat; Guillem Vives Ortiz, agri-food advisory technician of the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Catalonia; Alba Herraiz, waste project coordinator of Qualia Social SCCL.
The meeting will close with a practical cooking workshop for food utilization with tasting, led by chef Cèsar Hernández, from the L’Antic Forn restaurant in Cervera.
