A legend explained on stage and hands well muddy to shape a shield of their own. This is how the little ones celebrated the Millennium, in a day at the church of Sant Domènec that has turned the history of the city into a story to imagine and, after, modeling with your own hands.

The proposal began with the dramatized storyteller “Rondalla de l’Escut de Cervera”, by Marta Pich, that brought children closer to the legend about the origin of the city's coat of arms and the figure of the deer.

After listening and imagining the legend, it was time to get my hands on it, literally. From the mother of Bea Barrientos, each child worked the clay to model their own shield of Cervera and the Millennium, turning what they had just heard into a piece created by themselves.

The initiative has brought the commemoration of the thousand years of Cervera closer to the little ones in a fun and participatory way. The activity also had the collaboration of Les Voltes and the theater school La Caserna.
