Cervera will host the 18 of June the 32edition of the Salvador de Madariaga European Journalism Award, a benchmark event that, for the first time, will be held outside a provincial capital. In the middle of the Millennium year, the city will take advantage of this international event to project its cultural wealth, heritage and creative on a European scale.
The ceremony will have a strong Cerverí accent with the participation of journalist Dolors Elias as host of the event, as well as performances by the Cervera Conservatory, by the musicians Georgina Marsal and Marc Castellà, and the dancer and choreographer Pau Altimira Marfà, better known as Pau A'M.
This way, the Madariaga Award will also become a showcase for local talent and the city's cultural vitality.
