Last week, the vinyls of the five information panels in Cervera for the historical and tourist route of the “L-2” project were replaced., itinerary through the spaces of the Civil War in La Segarra ”.
The route was marked in the year 2008, in an action promoted by the Segarra County Council and the Jordi Cases i Llebot Foundation, with the help·support of the Town Council of Cervera, within the global project "Espais de Memòria" of the Democratic Memorial of Catalonia.
The vinyls that contained the information were badly damaged due to the passage of time and exposure to inclement weather. It is for this reason that they have been replaced by new ones. In addition, the image of all the panels has been unified, which has been adapted to the signaling regulations of the Democratic Memorial of the Generalitat.
According to the paer in chief, Joan Santacana, "memory is not erased, you need to take care of her".
La Paeria de Cervera has accepted a grant from the Department of Justice for projects aimed at recovering and enhancing the memorial heritage of Catalonia. The grant was from 50% of the performance, which has had a cost of 8.040 euros.
