The Paeria de Cervera has approved the regulations that regulate and limit traffic on Carrer Major, where only authorized vehicles can access without time limit.

Access control is done through the new intel optical recorder system·identification card, with cameras col·located at the entrances on Carrer Major that register the license plates. The camera at the access to Carrer Major through Plaça Santa Anna has already started working, and it is also planned to install·lar on the streets Mare Janer, Cobblers and Carreró del Salí.

The regulation allows the free access of vehicles only from Monday to Saturday (weekdays) from 7 a 12 hours.
Duly authorized vehicles can carry out loading and unloading or access to the car parks located in the delimited area 24 hours of the day 7 days of the week.

Owners or users of homes are authorized, premises or shops located in the area (major streets, Mare Janer, Cobblers and Carreró del Salí).
These must be registered in the register prepared by the Paeria, that will process the relevant authorization.

They will also be granted, prior request to the Paeria, temporary and exceptional authorizations for works and for professionals, instal·lads, deliverymen... with a license in the municipality who must provide services to their customers on Carrer Major.

Unauthorized vehicles that access the main street outside the hours allowed in the regulations will be sanctioned by the Local Police, as provided by the municipal ordinances on circulation and citizen coexistence.

The regulation approved by the Paeria de Cervera regulates and limits authorized traffic on Carrer Major, given that the use of this road is preferentially restricted to pedestrians, and those uses that involve the presence of permanent vehicles on the public road remain prohibited.

Major streets, Mare Janer, Shoemakers and Carreró del Salí have the corresponding signage at the entrance, where the limitations and access times are indicated.
