The gala of the XVII Gaudí Prizes of Catalan Cinema, which can be followed live on TV3 on Saturday 18 January, of the 22 them 00.30 hours, will connect live with Cervera, where journalist Mònica Terribas will present the special Audience Award 2024 to the best·movie of the year.
It will be an event without the presence of the public, which can be followed by the public media TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio.
With this initiative, the Paeria de Cervera expresses its commitment to Catalan culture and promotes the city throughout Catalonia.
The spot for this edition of the Catalan cinema awards, which was presented last weekend, it was recorded at the Casa Museu Duran i Sanpere, where its spaces transport spectators to Catalonia from more than a century ago.

The Paeria de Cervera has col·worked with the Catalan Cinema Academy in this 17th edition of the Gaudí Awards. Fruit of this cabbage·collaboration, the public award ceremony takes place in Cervera and the promotional spot has been recorded at Casa Museu Duran i Sanpere. It is a bet by La Paeria for the tourism and economic promotion of the municipality and the Cervera brand throughout Catalonia.
Special Audience Award 2024
This is a popular participation award, present for seven editions, with which the Catalan Cinema Academy involves the public in the race for the Gaudí Awards.
Voting was open until 10 de gener al web premidelpublic.premisgaudi.cat.
The sixteen titles nominated in the best film categories are eligible·film, pel·film in a non-Catalan language, pel·documentary and animation film.
The candidates to be chosen Best for·Catalan film of the year 2024 they are: “The 47”, “House in flames”, “Mammal” and “Hail Mary”.
Gaudí Awards Gala 2025
Catalan cinema celebrates, Saturday 18 January, its big night with the gala that will take place in the CCIB Fòrum Auditorium, and Barcelona.
The ceremony, which will start at 22.00 and will last until 00.30 hours, it can be followed live on TV3, after Telenotícies Vespre, with comments for viewers by Carolina Rosich and Ismael Martín, and Catalunya Ràdio, amb l’equip de The prying window.
Directed by Daniel English, will be presented by the actors Marc Clotet and Paula Malla, with the help·collaboration of the comedic actress Judit Martin.
It will feature the musical performances of Ginestà, Figa Flawas i Grupi Killin´Cactuz.
The statuettes will be delivered by filmmakers J.A. Bayonne, SIX CURRENT DAYS, Marcel Barrena, Dani of the Order, Alba Cros and Paula Ortiz, others.
