The album "The Call", of the young Cerverian Pau Carbonell, includes arrangements of unpublished works by the composer Francesc Comorera, as well as two original compositions.

This project is the result of exhaustive research carried out at the Segarra County Archives and the Cervera Conservatory Municipal Archives, where Carbonell has discovered and recovered unpublished works by Francesc Comorera, a former rector of Cervera who composed during the time of the Commonwealth.
Among the works recovered, the "Cant de la Senyera" stands out, dedicated to La Segarra and the Catalan language; "El Plor de la Tortora" and "Hymn to the Glory of Cervera". These compositions have been arranged by Carbonell for quartet and brass quintet.

As Carbonell explains, "my vocation to serve the general interest has been the engine that has driven me to do this work, with the aim of recovering and contributing a valuable cultural legacy for our community". He also points out that "this same vocation is what gave the album its name, "The Call"".

In addition to the works of Comorera, the EP includes two original compositions by Carbonell: "The Belfry of Cervera", inspired by the dissonances of the city bells, and "Under Your Protection", a song to the Virgin Mary of Montserrat with a completely new harmony.

The EP is now available on all digital platforms.
