The town council and the House Civic Cervera, with the help·operation of social organizations of the city, organize 14 Activities from 1 to 8 October on the occasion of the Week for the Elderly.
the activities, are quite varied, include an exhibition, A guided tour, workshops, talks, theatrical and musical performances, and the traditional Feast of the Elderly, on Thursday 3 October, International Day of the Elderly.
A new feature is the performance of the group of actors of the Civic Casal, it will be two sessions, one in each city residence. Also planned are activities of the group of users of the Occupational Center Lavender at two residences (Mother Mother Janer Güell) Day center and Josep Valls.
This year also includes a guided tour entitled "From 0 a 100”, by Armand Forcat, already successfully carried out last August. A tour will follow the development of education in the city: kindergarten, school, institute…
Also noteworthy intergenerational workshops, which will take place at the Civic Casal, residences and the Center Josep Valls, the exchange of learning between users of these centers and students of the three schools Cervera.
Classroom Extracurricular activities also added to the organization of a conference of the famous journalist, presenter of radio and television Antoni Bassas, the Auditorium of the University.
All these activities are free and open to all citizens.
