Two of the bells of Santa Maria de Cervera, Seny Major and Carranca, were built in the year 1424, now ago 600 years, and to commemorate the anniversary the Bell Ringers of Cervera, with the help·collaboration of the Paeria and the Parish, they have prepared an extensive calendar of activities, which was presented yesterday at the Municipal Auditorium.

Bell towers of Cervera
The Campaners Cultural Group of Cervera was created in 1985 with the purpose of preserving the bell tradition of the city. It currently has some 50 members and the titular bell ringer is Xavier Juan. It is one of the groups in Catalonia that maintain manual touches, declared intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in the year 2022.
