Carnival Cervera, to be held on Saturday 29 February, will have the participation of 12 comparsas, more 500 people in disguise, in a parade that will begin this year in the Plaza del Sindicat.
The parade will be animated by Grepp Teatre and the percussion group Bombollers de Cervera. He will leave the Union and take the next route: Avinguda Vidal de Montpalau, Avinguda d’Agramunt, Victoria street, avinguda Catalunya, Guinedilda street and University square.
On arrival at Plaça Universitat, the troupes will make their appearances before the Jury.
Then, in the courtyards of the University, the Carnival King will read the Proclamation and there will be entertainment and a snack for the participants. The party will end with the award ceremony.
In the evening the party will move to the multipurpose pavilion, with the Megaso discomobile. Admission is free.
