Remodeling of the Cervera Museum

The works at the reception of the Regional Museum of Cervera, which were inaugurated on Wednesday 18 September, they started last January.
They represent progress in the implementation of the first of the key objectives of the Strategic Plan 2022-2025 of the Cervera Museum: reinforce the main message, the Duran and Sanpere House.
The works have had the support of the Leader program of Central Catalonia and the General Directorate of Heritage of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

With the rehabilitation of the entrance hall, it is possible to realize a specific action of the first strategic objective of the Cervera Museum: create a new space for reception and visitor attention, more open, accessible and visible from the street. Conceived as a welcoming space, for the Museum and for tourism in Cervera, the new space, more diaphanous and luminous, aims to overcome the previous darkness that did not help either to locate the equipment or to perceive it as an open and welcoming space.
This way, progress is being made in consolidating the Museum's presence on Carrer Major de Cervera with the desire to go out and be more present there.
