European Mobility Week

The Department of Mobility, with the help·collaboration with other Cervera institutions and entities, promotes activities, between days 16 i 21 September, on the occasion of European Mobility Week 2023.

The program foresees walks organized by the Segarra Hiking Center and the CAP de Cervera; an urban bike ride on the Peña Ciclista; the Cervera Patina roller skates; a traffic playground of the Catalan Traffic Service and a bicycle repair workshop; Directed sports activity classes with CEM Cervera instructors.

This year the main novelty is the organization of the inclusive walk to break down barriers, in charge of l'Espígol Occupational Center. A tour through the streets of Cervera with wheelchairs and cars is planned, with departure and arrival at Carrer 1 d'Octubre (headquarters of l'Espígol).

European Mobility Week: “Combine i mou-te!”

Of the 16 al 22 September marks the European Mobility Week, which promotes more sustainable mobility habits, safe and healthy as are commuting on foot, cycling, by public transport or by electric vehicle, as well as visualizing possible changes in the use of public space, improve air quality and reduce pollution.

The theme chosen by the European Commission for this year is energy efficiency and the motto is "Combine and move!”, that emphasizes intermodality and encourages us to move sustainably and practice intermodality, for the benefit of our health and the environment.
